GUELPH TAYLOR SWIFT FANS HELP RAISE ALMOST $500 FOR LOCAL CHARITY "THE BENCH"

We're pleased to report that Guelph Taylor Swift fans helped raise almost $500 for local charity The Bench.

All the money from ticket sales for our raffle of copies of Swift's "the lakes" record will go directly to The Bench, helping people in need in the downtown area.

In the end, 30 fans bought tickets (some bought many multiples!). We received one more copy of this now collectible rare record and we were able to add another winner to the pot so we drew 3 random names.

The winners have been contacted and should be coming into the store this week to pick up their prize records (so, photos forthcoming).

We at Royal Cat are very excited that this all worked out and that these records are going to true fans instead of ending up selling online for crazy prices, all while helping out a good cause. Ticket sales from the raffle amounted to $480.

Everybody should check out The Bench and the work Ed Pickersgill and his team do!

Todd Graham Record Store Tour

FREE EVENT!
Saturday, July 20

Join us for some laffs this Saturday morning when the Todd Graham BUSTIN’ LOOSE Record Store Tour rolls into Guelph. Todd will be doing a short set as part of a one-day tour to promote his new album.

Todd Graham's debut comedy album, Bustin' Loose! will be released on Comedy Records this weekend. To celebrate the release, Todd will be performing at record stores in the Greater Toronto Area on July 20th.

Todd Graham (@idiotgallant) is a late-comer to the comedy scene. While most stand-up comedians get started in their 20s, Todd didn't launch his comedy career until he was already in his 40's. Todd's signature "red herring rope-a-dope style" showcased on his debut album, Bustin' Loose! is reflective of this fact.Bustin' Loose! was recorded over two and a half sold-out shows at Toronto's Comedy Bar in September 2018 (too bad you weren't there).

Todd has performed at some impressive clubs* and festivals** over the years. He's opened for several pretty famous comedians*** and has even been on the radio**** & television***** a few times. Still we think it would be for the best if you all come see him in person and then maybe let things progress naturally from there.
